Hello! I am Ambrosha Shell, a designer and product developer based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a passion for creating visually compelling experiences and thoughtfully designed products that elevate everyday living. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design from Georgia State University, I’ve built a multidisciplinary career that blends creativity, trend forecasting, and product innovation across the home furnishings and event design industries.

My journey began with a year-long internship at Devgiri Exports, where I designed kitchen rugs and assisted in the development of area rugs and table placemats. This experience laid the foundation for my understanding of textile design, manufacturing, and the product development process.

I later joined Surya Carpets as a Junior Textile Designer in Product Development, where I created original artwork and CAD designs for rugs, pillows, wall hangings, and poufs. My work was heavily inspired by emerging design trends discovered through market research, online forecasting, and attendance at High Point Market. This role strengthened my ability to develop trend-driven collections that balanced creativity with commercial appeal.

Following my time at Surya, I became the first Rug Designer at VCNY Home in North Bergen, New Jersey. In this role, I helped expand the company’s rug category by designing original collections and contributing to the overall product development process. I also collaborated on shower curtain and outdoor rug projects, further broadening my experience within the home furnishings space.

Currently, I serve as the Event Designer at West & Main Events, where I specialize in transforming spaces into immersive and memorable experiences for weddings, corporate events, parties, and special occasions. From conceptualizing themes and color palettes to coordinating lighting, furnishings, and décor installations, I create environments that are both visually captivating and emotionally engaging.

Across every role, my goal has remained the same: to create meaningful designs that connect with people. My expertise includes trend research, original artwork creation, repeat pattern design, colorway development, separations, mood boards, mock-ups, texture mapping, presentations, tech packs, factory communication, sample reviews, and production approvals.

I am passionate about designing products and experiences that are innovative, beautifully executed, and thoughtfully crafted for a wide range of lifestyles.
